Wouter Moest

Wouter Moest is a fellow of nephrology and interrupted his fellowship for a PhD project since may of 2022. He will be a clinical investigator for the TTV GUIDE IT study. A multi center randomized controlled trail, which will compare the dosing of immunosuppression in kidney transplant patients according to the Torque Teno Virus (TTV) levels versus the standard care (immunosuppression guided according to trough levels).
In addition he will investigate other viral complications after kidney transplantation. Such as an epidemiological study of the effect of persistent BK viremia after kidney transplantation and will research the contradiction of coexisting BK viremia and rejection in kidney transplant patients.
