Education

Undergraduate courses and study programs

The Einthoven Laboratory and researchers teach, or participates in the Medical and Biomedical Sciences several undergraduate curricula. Furthermore, we provide courses for medical researchers and students from the “Masterplus” honours program, which are also open for researchers from outside the LUMC.

We also offer various opportunities for internships and master thesis projects for students of Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, (Medical) Biology, Life Science & Technology and similar educational programs. “HBO” students can participate in such projects as well.

Foreign students

We welcome foreign students to visit our laboratory for an internship, preferably of several months in length. Our lab uses a large number of techniques and we will usually be able to select a subject for your internship that fits with your interests. Students planning to stay in the Netherlands should plan their trip well in advance to make sure that all bureaucratic hurdles have been taken. The Netherlands is a small, but interesting Western-European country with good public transport, giving good opportunities for sight-seeing.
