EINTHOVEN LABORATORY

The Einthoven Laboratory for Vascular and Regenerative Medicine is the workshop of the Department of Internal Medicine of the Leiden University Medical Center (LUMC). The mission of the laboratory is to provide a stimulating and collaborative environment with state of the art facilities for carrying out a broad spectrum of studies in the field of Vascular and Regenerative Medicine.
Researchers from the department of Internal Medicine -Nephrology, Endocrinology, Thrombosis and Hemostasis- collaborate with a diversity of other departments - including Cardiology, Vascular Surgery, Clinical Oncology, and Clinical Epidemiology. All work together in the Einthoven Laboratory. At the moment, the group consists of more than 70 junior and senior researchers who work together on a large variety of research projects, including those presented on this website.
