Tariq Faquih
Tariq Faquih is a PhD candidate at Leiden University Medical Center, Department of Clinical Epidemiology. His PhD thesis is titled Multi-omics approaches in epidemiological research of cardio-metabolic diseases. The focus of the thesis using multiple omics to study a variety of ailments. These omics which include genomics (Genome Wide Association Studies, Genomic Risk Scores), Metabolomics (large data from UHPLC-MS/MS and NMR platforms), and proteomics.
Tariq obtained his BSc in Human genetics from the University of Leeds (UK) in 2011. Afterwards he obtained his MSc Bioinformatics from Georgetown University (USA) in 2013.
