Koen van der Bogt

Koen van der Bogt is a vascular surgeon at the LUMC and HMC with specific interest in vascular access for hemodialysis. He has extensive experience with complex surgical procedures to create durable vascular access conduits, and he operates most patients that are referred to our vascular access expertise center. He did a fellowship vascular access surgery at Brighton & Sussex University Hospitals and he is the principle investigator of the PINCH trial, a randomized trial on the efficacy of pre-operative forearm exercise to promote venous outward remodeling and fistula maturation.
