Jafar Vatandoost

During my PhD at Tarbiat Modares University (Tehran, Iran) and my internship in the Mettine group at Einthoven laboratory (Leiden, The Netherland), I have been interested in genetic engineering of blood coagulation factors.
Since transitioning to the Hakim Sabzevari University and postdoctoral fellowship in the Mettine group at Einthoven laboratory (Leiden, The Netherland), I have extended my research focus to genetic engineering and purification of coagulation factor IX for increasing of expression, activity, half-life, etc.
My new interest is modeling of coagulation factors such as Factor IX for introducing the best mutations to produce super coagulation factor with the best features.
