Gelisa Allers
Gelisa Allers is a nurse practitioner with a specialization in vascular access for hemodialysis. As vascular access coordinator she is responsible for patient education, guidance during the process of access creation and monitoring of the vascular access. This care is given to patients who need a vascular access, patients with a functional vascular access for hemodialysis and patients with a functional vascular access after kidney transplantation. Gelisa also contributes to the clinical studies on vascular access and provides education for dialysis nurses.
