Floriane van Liefferinge

Floriane is a PhD candidate in the department of Thrombosis and Hemostasis, supervised by Araci Rondon and Henri Versteeg. She graduated from her bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences at ULB in Brussels and then obtained her master’s in Biomedical Sciences with a research specialization at Leiden University. For her PhD project, she is studying the properties and the interactions of cells in blood clots using clots from patients and a clot-on-chip model.
