Bas Laan
Bas Laan is a PhD student in the group of Jeroen Eikenboom (LUMC) and Ruben Bierings (ErasmusMC). After graduating from the Biomedical sciences master in Leiden he started his PhD on the 1st of April 2020. Originally focused on immunology and oncology during his studies, Bas has switched his efforts towards personalizing bleeding disorders. Bas is currently working within the SYMPHONY consortium to investigate the cellular mechanisms behind interindividual variation in bleeding phenotypes between patients with bleeding disorders.
